SoundCycleGarden (2016)

~  pieces for bikes and plants.

Four very different new sonic bike works made on Sensory Bikes for the Tiergarten, Berlin by Chiara Kramer, Evelyn Saylor, Philipp Sehling and Marcus Zepp.  Made with Kaffe Matthews at TU Technical University during her Edgard Varèse professorship there, in collaboration and technical development with Sukandar Kartadinata and David Runge.

SoundCycleGarden was presented as a Free and Open Picnic on Saturday 16 July 2016, 1-4pm, with invited audience and passers by dropping in to take out the bikes through the park. This public experiment was also the first time the Sensory Bikes had been presented.  Visitor’s Book entries below give some sense of the varieties of responses.
