River ride and Lidl’s air
We’re just over mid way through the festival now. Riders have been exploring far and wide across the town. Jennie, Georgia and the SAW team are in central square lending out the bikes in the sunshine and crunching numbers into visualizations. I got ‘pinged’ earlier this week and so have set up a data HQ from in my isolation space – what a brilliant way to get my head stuck into the heaps of pollution data the bikes are amassing. Kaffe is everywhere – riding, listening, recording, at centre square with the team. But tonight its the River Tees Sonic Cruise that departs from Stockton, Kaffe is riding an Enviro Bike to the dock to hear the pollution out along the river that connects Middlesbrough to Stockton. Look what she found:
That big drop in the data on the chart is when Kaffe went into Lidl to get us some dinner. What a difference in air quality inside …
