Augsburg, city of peace

And so I am spending a week here exploring and encountering people and places, with the luxury of time to follow up the random meeting or an atmosphere. So many languages spoken on the street and yet it also has to be one of the quietest urban spaces I’ve ever visited. I am even able to hear the acoustic space of the pedestrian streets and the resonant changes at their crossroads between one direction or another just by turning my head. No planes or traffic hum. Fantastic. I spend hours walking and listening, stopping, standing, recording through binaurals. The different times of day are also detailed. Maybe the night being the busiest?
