live music and community
Hoorah for Café Neruda, run by an energetic Turkish guy with the home made hosting and quietly small glass red wine sipping ways of Phill Niblock, the music and random community that gathers and grows each night with maybe a session or a booked band being the thing. Of course. Tonight it’s a tight and brilliant Hungarian led Bluegrass/Irish folk band with a two tone drive and political lyrics that remind me of the 80’s but updated to now. I discover afterwards that the Lonesome Artisans are Scottish, English, German, Hungarian and wow can they play a driving tune.
