artist in residence, Grandhotel Cosmopolis

Thrilled to finally land back in Augsburg but now at the wonderful Grandhotel where I shall live and work for three weeks. My plan is to make the new sonic bike opera for the Augsburg Friedensfest commission with local residents here, so this is the ideal place to work from. Not only does it provide accommodation for refugees, but it also brings all kinds of people together from all over the world through creative projects, offering workshop spaces, studios, a venue and café.  It’s also been a central part of Augsburg’s cultural life for over ten years and is where I introduced the bicrophonic concept and this project during a week’s October research, last year.
