interactivity development

Back to the New Year with a full week in the studio with BRI.  Tom Keene is installed developing the sonic bike code to enable start point, speed/pitch and volume of audio files to be changed by incoming variables such as position of another bike, which bike, and speed of bike. The access of these parameters is of course in addition to those our system uses so far which are loop, panning, direction of cycling and where the bike is with GPS tracking mapped via a ushahidi drawn system of zones. This creates our maps, or rather ‘scores’ – images of which for each different piece you can find under PROJECTS, here. We’ve been discussing this interactive development for ages, so it’s more than good to be finally getting practically going. Happy New Year.
